Researchers Investigate the Dietary Impacts of Dairy within the Japanese Population.

A recent study by Assistant Professor Eiji Hishinuma (Clinical Phenome Group), Professor Masayuki Yamamoto (Special Advisor to the Executive Director), Professor Seizo Koshiba (Structural Biology Group), and Professor Kengo Kinoshita (Deputy Executive Director) at the Center has shed light on the association between dairy product consumption and odd-number carbon chain fatty acids within the Japanese population, a correlation previously confirmed in Europe and Oceania but understudied in Asian countries.
